Here in New York, we have recently finished a three month project recording the daily music program of Christian Marclay: Festival at the Whitney Museum of American Art. For the last few of months this has given us the privileged opportunity to record some of the city’s most interesting, boundary-pushing artists including Zeena Parkins, Min Xiao-Fen, Ikue Mori, Lee Ranaldo, Eliott Sharp, Peter Evans, Mary Halvorson and many others.
